I began a restoration of my GI tract and my doctor recommended this dose for at least 1 month to repopulate my GI with good guys! It worked and then I was able to go down to the 30 billion dose for maintenance. This has been a real life saver for me!! If you have GI issues this is the one to go with initially. The price tag freaked me out a bit, but buying all the other brands that I did before buying this, was like throwing money away because they were not high enough quality or dose to fix the problem. I have tried many products over the years to regulate my system. Being hypothyroid with intestinal inflammation its a miracle if anything gets through my system in a reasonable amount of time. This product alone, keeps me regular daily, since I am allergic to casein this is like eating my daily Activia but without the dairy and its gluten free. This product combined with Xymogen I5 is like a small miracle enabling me to tolerate foods that normally cause me great pain to digest.
